About
With more than 35 years of design experience, Jennifer is confident and skilled in working within the parameters of any space and budget. She has built a deep network of trusted trade relationships and prides herself on cultivating a strong one-on-one connection with every client.
Whether it's a sleek, polished apartment, a sophisticated family home, a relaxed country retreat, or a creative commercial/hospitality commission, every client's space is thoughtfully grounded in the local vernacular while also being deeply customized to reflect their personal identity.
As a true "designer's designer," Jennifer and her firm go well beyond fleeting design trends to focus on bespoke elements and authentic finishes. Every detail-whether architectural, structural, or decorative—is treated as an essential part of the shared design vision, from demolition to door knobs.
Her academic background reflects her passion for design history and innovation. Jennifer holds a BA in Art History (with distinction in Egyptian and Mesopotamian Art) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a BFA in Environmental Design from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, and she has also studied Architecture at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
A perfect day for Jennifer starts early: strong French roast in hand, followed by an inspirational beach walk with her Labradoodle Retriever, Harry.
